Content Outline• I want to make a campaign of 3 posters promoting SASH and the

work that they do. The aim of the campaign will be to make people realise how common homelessness is amongst every day people and also how they can help them.

• I will stick with the colour theme that SASH already have: green. However, I will use different shades of green to make certain parts stand out amongst others.

• There will not be much copy on my poster layout. There will be the text at the top of the page and then at the bottom of the photograph that will introduce the character in the image to the audience and tell the audience that their help is needed. There will also be a chunk of text at the bottom of the page including a statistic like ‘80% of homeless people don’t spend their lives on the streets, they are normal people like you, and they need your help.’

Example images

I will use images like these three which show normal 16-24 year old people doing normal day-to-day activities that most 16-24 year old people are familiar with. This is so that the posters are relatable to the audience.

Target Audience

• My target audience for this work is 16-24 year olds. I think that my work will apply to them because my images will feature people of this age doing normal day to day activities that they will most likely do themselves.

• Also, from previous research 16-24 are the age group that most people think are at risk of suddenly becoming homeless; if this is true then posters such as the ones that I am making will help them if this were to happen to them.

• My products will be put in places that will be accessible to my target audience and places that they usually would go e.g. bus stops, doctor’s waiting rooms, college/university notice boards.

Required Resources

• I will need a computer/Mac so that I can use PhotoShop to put my poster together and add some effects.

• I will need to use some sourced images that I will search for and find on my first day of production.

• I will need to download fonts from dafont.com to use in my work.

Personnel Requirements

• I will need a graphic designer for the composition of my work, a copy writer for the text, a producer to organise the photo shoot, and also a photographer and models for obvious reasons.

Brief Production Schedule

• Within the first week I hope to have most of the production completed. I have scheduled that by the end of week 1 I will have completed 2 of the posters and will be well on with the third.

• I will finish whatever is incomplete in the second week. I have left a lot of week 2 free as contingency time if something were to go wrong. If I manage to complete everything and there is still a substantial amount of time left then I will consider making another product such as a sticker or beer mat.
