I like this picture because you can see the reflection of what the person is seeing, I think it works better in black and white then if it was in colour.

I like this macro picture because it’s a single drop of water close up with other leaves trailing in the back ground that are blurred, I think this works better in colour then in black and white because in colour you can define between the water droplet and leaf.

I really like this photo because it looks as if the dragonfly has been crystallised which gives a really nice effect, I think that this picture is better in colour because it makes the blue eyes stand out against the rest of the picture.

I like this close up macro of a spider in colour because you can see all the hairs and stripes with ease, if it became black and white I think that the effect it has at the moment would be lost.

I like this landscape because its from high up so the viewer is almost looking down and around, another reason I like it is because there is a single person in it showing how isolated the place is.

I like this photograph because its so full of colour and life with no one in it, I think an enhancer was used to bring the colours out vividly but I think it makes it look nicer. I don’t think this picture would work in black and white because this scene seems nice and happy where as black and white would make it seem dull and sad.

I like this landscape because it looks never ending into the bright sun light, I prefer it in colour because in black and white this photo would seem sad and lonely without the greens, oranges and bright yellow-white light at the end of the tunnel.This picture inspired some of the

ones I want to take because the scene looks wonderful in an early morning sunrise or sunset, I want to get the same sort of refection on water as this photographer got on ice/water. I prefer this in colour because the viewer can see all different colours of the sky which would be lost in a black and white picture.
