Concept

• Currently have several movie scripts, but not sure could get them sold to studio system

• Would rather be involved in bringing movie concept to fruition than hand off to studio that doesn’t understand vision

• Inspired by success of Dr. Horrible’s Sing along Blog, Sanctuary, Natalie Queen of Scots and other independent ventures

• Also computer capabilities available to average joe these days for animation is pretty capable

Open source movie production

• Partner with Art Institute (Houston), DAVE school or other animation school as well as using global community to produce film– May increase production time if partner school makes this senior

project work– Folks submit design/work and is closed loop system with

production staff to get to final design• Artists/animators paid per approved piece of work based

on tiered pay scale• Sound and voice work - TBD• Point system for residual payment to offset the low

upfront payment• Investor opportunity with industry partners and global

community

Global Internet Investors• Sell 10,000 shares to global community @ $50 per share

– This provides $500,000 for production– Investors see return on investment as part of film residuals and if

production costs are less than industry partner investments.• Maximuim Return on investment is $250

– Paid out of revenue from Cafepress store, DVD and VOD• Plan to establish cafepress store for t-shirts and posters

– Expect markup of ~$5 per unit

– Amazon CreateSpace– royalties split between investors and production residuals

• Video On demand cost $ 3.99– $1.99 in royalties

• Unbox Download cost - $14.99 for movie– $7.49 in royalties

• DVD cost - $20– $12 in royalties

• one DVD yields $6 to be divided by 10,000 shares and $6 to be divided by the residuals schedule

• Industry Partners provide $250,000 in exchange for involvement and exclusive revenue streams ($125,000 up front and the other half when production complete)– QMX – high end prop replica merchandise

• Markup is used 50% for production, 25% for investor payout and 25% for production residuals

• Could also use Directv 101 Channel as additional broadcast stream after run on Starz
