Cinema My Darling Auditions

Veteran news reporter Gaurish Akki, too, joined the brigade of emergent film directors when

he set out to direct Cinema My Darling, his directorial debut, for which he has written the

script and screenplay. The auditions for selecting the actresses for CMD was held at Garuda

Mall in Bangalore, on 23 December 2013. Gaurish Akki, who is also the co-founder of

FilmySphere, had the team at the event as FilmySphere is the official online partner for

Cinema My Darling. Here are some snippets from the day!

1. Meghana Gaonkar, one of the judges for the audition, arrived on spot and posed for

us. Meghana is a leading actress in Kannada film industry.

2. Yagnaa Shetty, a talented actress from Mangalore, too, joined the judging panel with

Meghana.

3. Sathish Neenasam, a new found star from Lucia, was also invited to judge upon the

audition ceremony.

4. Meanwhile, it was a surprise for team FilmySphere as Simple Star Rakshit Shetty

joined the band.

5. The auditions progressed till late afternoon. Press meet commenced soon after and

this was how Gaurish and team appeared on the occasion.
