The song that I am using for mymusic video is Brittany J’s Let TheParty Start. Brittany J is an unsignedartist whose music is typically R&Bwith elements of Hip-Hop andDancehall.I chose this song because it is sungby a female vocalist, the theme isuplifting and exciting, and the videoI want to create suits the song lyricsand composition.

Brittany J has her own blog which she uses to update her fans on where she is performing, ifshe’s recording and it also makes her known to music scouts. Her song ‘Let The Party Start’already has a music video to accompany it, however it is very basic in terms of styling, shotand mis en scene. As Brittany J is unsigned, she isn’t given a budget to record a videotherefore she isn’t able to afford big productions. The video consists of only two costumes,and two back up dancers, because of the simple theme, it’s not very watchable. I think myvideo will be very different to this one because of my different direction. The track is a properstudio recording which means the video sound will be very good quality and that will affectthe overall quality of the video.
