AUDIENCE RESEARCH QUESTIONNAIRE

BRIEF

The majority of my results seem to be female yet I do have some male respondents and those that buy music magazines are mainly the male respondents.

It seems that my audience don’t like spending too much money.

Rock and Pop are the two most popular genres and this is clearly represented in my results

The most common ways to listen to music are on an I-Pod, YouTube, and I-Tunes, and the most popular social networking sites are Facebook You Tube and Skype.

Live music events seem to be unpopular to attend but interviews and reviews are popular to read .

My audience like to go out for dinner, socialise, shop, and go to the cinema, but without having to spend too much money.

My audience seem to be quite young and social. It is clear they listen to the charts as rock and pop music is constantly on there and they would rather read and listen to reviews and interview than go out and see them it is said to be because of a lack of money but they like to spend there time socialising and going out even with little money. This gives me an insight into what I should include in my magazine and also how to attract my audience with images, brands, genre and price.
