Regarding the sculptures above:Symbolic representations similar to Minoan statues found on the island of Crete (6000 a 2000 B.C.). This collection is made from precious materials, like gold and gems. The reason why the work is done in gold is very simple. Due to the size of the figures, the work is very similar to a miniature. In order to be able to touch them as much as you want you need appropriate surfaces. Gold is the best protection for the precious manufacturing, the chiseling and the carving in bronze, and for your skin. The gems and the gold emphasize the classical and antique character of the work. On one side, these statues follow sculptural tradition and, on the other side, they innovate the tradition by the means of the use of unprecedented technical skills, allowing a fuller range of nuances in the gold surfaces from shiny to matte.

The seven sculptures refer to seven main colors which appear through precious stones. They symbolize seven feelings or emotional stages, requirement for any kind of creation, let it be artistic or human.

The orange stands for innocence and openness. The rose pink stands for inspiration. The blue stands for gestation. The green stands for mothering and maturation. The violet stands for respect, distance and reflection. The yellow stands for satisfaction and for pride about the achieved work. The red stands for rest, farewell and emancipation.

The name picadoras is an allegory to describe the dichotomy between femaleness and maleness – a symbolic combination of the horn as representation of maleness and the female torso in a single sculpture. The following pictures show the single male elements.
