INTRODUCTION
AS WE CAN SEE THAT THE TRAFFIC ON ROADS IS INCREASING DAY BY DAY AND HENCE MAIN JUNCTIONS ARE BEING INVOLVED DAILY IN SOME OR THE OTHER TRAFFIC JAM SITUATIONS. SO AS TO OVERCOME THIS ISSUE, THE GOVERNMENT HAS STARTED CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERPASSES AT DESIRED LOCATIONS SO THAT PEOPLE CAN MOVE FASTER AND SO DOES THE ECONOMY. ONE SUCH PROJECT IS THE CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERPASS ON JUNCTION 9, NOIDA SECTOR 32, 35, 39 & 51. IT IS AN 18 MONTHS LONG PROJECT COSTING AMOUNT OF RS. 58.01 CRORES. THE PROJECT WAS STARTED ON 24-JULY 2013 AND IS EXPECTED TO BE FINISHED BY 23-MAY-2015. RITES LTD. PROGRESS OF UNDERPASS BY END OF JAN’15 WAS ABOUT 60%
