What is Wiring Harness According to dictionary sources, the word "harness“ originally means the "fittings used for a horse and by which it is fastened to the cart, wagon, plough, etc. that it pulls". Then later, because of its general shape, a wiring assembly installed in automobiles was called "harness" or "wiring harness", in viewing the automobile in the same style as a wagon.

What and function of w/h "Wiring Harness" could be termed in commonwords as an assembly of wires for automobiles.W/H is comprised of electrical circuits madeof low voltage wires by cutting them intorequired lengths and assembling them to makewiring (installation) inside the car An automobile Wiring Harness has to distributepower from the battery to devices located all over thecar (Ex: Headlamp, Horn, Radio, A/C…etc.)easy.
