Aim: Create a model and simulate a single phase fully
controlled rectifier fed separately excited dc motor using MATLAB /Simulink to plot the average output voltage and output current waveform
• Motor parameter :Vrated : 200 V ; Nrated : 875 RPM ; Irated : 150ARa = 0.06 ohm ; La = 2.85 mH
Converter parameters:
single phase fully controlled Bridge Rectifier with an ac source voltage of 220 V,50Hz for firing angle α = 120 degrees and speed =-400 rpm

Step 2: Find ωmIF ωm < ωmc The drive is operating under continuous conduction mode
(or) IF ωm > ωmc The drive is operating under discontinuous conduction mode
