• Increase in numbers of vehicles on road not only results in heavy traffic on road but also increasing consumption of fuel and energy resources.

• We can see long waiting lines on petrol pumps.

• Net report says, globally 91 millions barrels of crude oil consumed in a day.

Introduction

• Energy is the basic need for the development of the modern world.

• A large amount of kinetic energy is wasted at speed breakers through friction, every time when vehicle passes over it.

• Electricity can be generated using the idea of basic physics to convert the kinetic energy into electrical energy.

• Using a simple Rack-Pinion Chain Socket Arrangement, We can convert pressure into rotations of Dynamo Coil.

• Electricity such produced by transport pressure can be used to light up the street lights and small villages of highways.

Generation of Electricity Using Road Transport Pressure

• The energy crisis is a great bottleneck in the supply of energy resources to an economy.

• For meeting up the regular demand of energy we need to design a system that will produce electricity without destroying the nature.

• Here we are putting an attempt to show how Energy can be produced , stored and used using the traffic pressure.

• Below these speed brakers head pressure liver is connected & a rack gear is mounted on it.

• We have thought for a mechanically design speed brakers which will rest on strong springs.

• When a heavy vehicle will passed Over such speed breakers due to their weight they will compress .

Future Scope

• Such speed breakers can be designed at every highways as an alternative source of energy to meet the increasing demand of energy.

• Villages at several highways where still electricity is not there, can be light up using this technique.

• This concept can be modified and enhanced to be used to produce electricity by human pressure at walking plazas, jogging tracks, malls, markets etc.

The existing source of energy such as coal, oil etc may not be adequate to meet the ever increasing energy demands. These conventional sources of energy are also depleting and may be exhausted.

These are some non-conventional methods of producing energy. This project is a one step to path of exploring the possibilities of energy from several non-conventional energy sources.
