1st Year Core Immersion
The first year begins with business courses in accounting, finance, economics, marketing, information technology, quantitative data analysis and management communications.
First year MBA candidates are grouped into study teams of 5-6 colleagues.
Concentrations
The Mason MBA offers seven market-driven concentrations designed to enhance your success in the career of your choice. Each concentration includes one of Mason's unique CAMS (Career Acceleration Modules) as well as electives tailored to meet the requirements recruiters in each field tell us they are looking for in MBA candidates. The choice is yours--pursue a concentration to tailor your preparation for a specific field or a general management degree without a concentration, which provides the maximum flexibility in terms of CAMS and electives.

The CAM ConceptIt’s a brilliantly simple concept, a revolutionary concept, and richly rewarding. Advanced academic training in business -- ongoing, direct contact with business experts – hands-on experience. All in seven weeks.
The CAMs are intensive -- and so are the results. You’re immersed in academic and experiential activities. You visit corporate settings. Work on consulting projects. Pour through case analyses. Engage in business simulation exercises. And you learn – a lot -- from an impressive lineup of speakers.
