The Millennium Stadium

In Uusikaupunki there is nothing like this. In Bergen there is a football stadium home of the team Brann. They play there every week. It holds 20,000 people. The Millennium stadium hold 74,500 people.

In Bergen and Uusikaupunki they have no large city hall as neither of them are cities as they have no Cathedrals. They have a little one in Uusikaupunki. What struck Ben at first was the amazing architecture inside of the building, in particular the marble hall.

The Museum We all have museums but they aren’t as big as the one in Cardiff. It seems that in Cardiff we are more interested in the history and in Bergen they are more interested in science as they have a science museum. In Uusikaupunki there are a few small museums but they are not as popular as in Cardiff.

The SeneddThe expectation was an old building, there were many disappointments. Compared with London it is tiny. There is nothing like this in Bergen and Uusikaupunki. However, there is one in Oslo which is called Stortinget. It is a circular building which symbolises democracy through a person with open arms.

Wales Millennium CentreThe WMC went down well as it was nothing like the theatre in Bergen because the one in Bergen is very old, about the same size, but not as popular. They have a theatre in Uusikaupunki but it is an amateur theatre group and it is small. It also is multi purpose and serves as a concert hall too.

Lightship 2000In Uusikaupunki and Bergen there are a lot of boats as they live on the coast. However they have no boats that have been turned into a tourist attraction.

Red Dragon CentreThis area of restaurants is something completely different to Bergen and Uusikaupunki. They have areas with restaurants but not with the cinema and bowling. They both have cinemas. Bergen’s cinema is old compared to ours. The cinema in Uusikaupunki is again quite old and small compared to the cinema in Cardiff.
