In your BlackBoard course, click
‘Course Texts’ on the left of the page

Simply click on the text to access the
text. The book will open in a new tab.
If this doesn’t work ensure you have
‘pop-ups’ enabled in your internet
browser

To enable pop-ups Internet Explorer (PC)
• Press the alt button on your keyboard
• Click on Tools in the menu, the click on Internet Options
• Click the Privacy tab.
• Uncheck Turn on Pop-up blocker
Firefox (PC)
• Press the alt button on your keyboard
• Click on Tools in the menu, the click on Options
• Click the Content tab.
• Uncheck Block Pop-up windows
Firefox (Mac) Click on the Firefox menu and click on Preferences>
• Click the Content tab.
• Uncheck Block Pop-up windows
Chrome (Mac+PC) Click the Chrome menu on the browser toolbar.
• Select Settings.
• Click Show advanced settings.
• in the "Privacy" section, click the Content settings button.
• In the "Pop-ups" section, select "Allow all sites to show pop-ups." Customize permissions for specific websites by clicking Manage exceptions.
Safari (Mac) Click on the Safari menu and click on Preferences
• Click the Security tab.
• Uncheck Block Pop-up windows

Fill in your details – make sure you ONLY use your student
email address and fill out the whole form!

– this is where you can change which devices/computers
sync to your booklist
