Organising the grades

• Numeric grade: A numerical grade between 1 and 100. This is already set up and ready to use within all Moodle courses.

• Scale: A customized grading profile that can be letters, words, statements, or numbers (such as Pass, Merit, and Distinction).

• Letter grade: A grading profile that can be linked to percentages (such as 100 percent > A).

A standard scale is available site-wide, for all courses.

An ordered list of values, ranging from negative to positive, separated by commas, for example "Disappointing, Not good enough, Average, Good, Very good, Excellent!"

Click this box to change the scales.

You can use letters or words here.

This setting determines the minimum percentage over which grades will be assigned the grade letter.

Save your changes!
