Our video is entitled “ From BCD to

CBD”. BCD is the acronym for Business

Communication Department which

houses the programs Associate in

Contact Center Services, Associate in

Customer Service Communication, and

Bachelor of Arts in Organizational

Communication. On the other hand,

CBD stands for Central Business

District, this is the area where

reputable companies are located. Our

group came up with this topic because

we want to show the transformation

experienced by the students of BCD in

the University and which fellow aid

them in their present jobs.

We want to empower our fellow

students who are currently enrolled in

ACCS, ACSC, and BA Org Comm. to

persevere and aim higher because

through our courses we have greater

choices.

“From BCD to CBD” is a video report of some

of the successful graduates of the

department. The presentation will show the

challenges that BCD students encountered in

their 2 years stay in the university, the skills

that they developed as a student, and which

now serve as their tools in the workplace.

Since the allowed duration of presentation is

up to 10 minutes only, we can only feature a

few of our former classmates / batch mates.

Instead of the traditional interview format,

we decided to gather our respondents to

become guests to a “ Bonding session” . We

are going to host a small get-together party

for out friends. The video is going to be filled

with reminiscing, and teasing. A member of the group will serve as the

narrator/host of the presentation. This

presentation will serve as an advertisement

for the BCD since our main goal it to

motivate and persuade our audience to look

at our department as a gateway to endless

opportunities.

their UMAK moments will
