FILM TITLE

We have decided on the film title Paranoia. The reason for this is because the idea of the film would be easy to construct and it would be easier to film the scenes for our trailer.

FILM TAGLINE

The tagline for our chosen film is “Revenge is sadistic pleasure”. We chose this because Emile is sadistic and she feels like she owes it to her friends to seek revenge on those that she is convinced killed them.

FILM INFLUENCES

The films that influenced our trailer are Scream and Psycho.

From Scream, we took the elements of the slasher, so people getting chased and stabbed.

From psycho we took the psychological influence and added those to our trailer.

PRODUCTION TEAM LOGO

Our production logo is called Spooky Studios.

We decided that we wanted blood dripping from the logo and when it shows it would come up as ‘Spooky’ sliding in and ‘Studios’ comes in really quickly underneath ‘Spooky’. We wanted to have a knife cutting sound to show the audience that the film they are watching is a slasher film.

TODOROV THEORY

Tordoruvs narrative theory states that most story or plots lines follow the same pattern or path. There are 5 steps to this pattern:

Equilibrium – the first part will display a happy start where the majority of the characters are content and everything is as it should be.

Disruption – the second part of the story, this will include a problem or something will disrupt the happiness.

Realization – this part of the plot is when everyone realises the problem and it’s chaos.

Restored order – this part of the plot is when they try to repair the damage that has been made.

Equilibrium again – this the final part of the plot where the problem is solved normally resume everyone is free.
