Our aims for this trial Distance learning web conference are:
Provide you with experience in participating in distance learning web conferencing session
Describe why we need to reinvigorate Distance learning for TQR success – TQR Strategic plan
Share experiences and ideas on current distance learning practice between participants – web conference attendees.
Identify 3- 5 key issues to develop and thereby enhance distance learning practice across TQR Institutes
Evaluate this distance learning web conference as a viable Professional Development option for TQR staff.

What is distance learning?
Learning that occurs when a teacher and learner(s) are separated: by physical distance
Technology (i.e., voice, video, data, and print), is often combined with face-to-face communication, to bridge the instructional gap.
These types of programs can provide adults with a chance to undertake vocational education and training and reach those disadvantaged by limited time, distance or physical disability, and enhance the competence of workers at their places of employment.
