• This a media pack from the fly website this help me find the audience that I plan to target for my magazine.

It contains useful information on what people spend their money with most spending at least £10 on dvds and £10 on music and £20 on clothing this will make the target audience middle class as they are the ones who have disposable income. Although the magazine is free and is available to everyone.

it also says that the magazine contains lots of album and live reviews and a gig guide. These features mean the audience is likely to have some interest in gigs and will be interested in reviews of albums and live performances

This media pack shows that the gender who get it is relatively even. It will also help me aim for an age group with 73% of readers being between 18 and 35 and 32% being students meaning it is mostly young adults to middle age which gives it quite an age range to cover.

• Another important feature is that the magazine is distributed to HMV, FOPP, TopMan, Levi’s stores and independent record stores and bars. The audience is aimed at those who spend money on clothes, dvds and music supporting an audience who have lots of money spend.

Overall this media pack has helped define and audience to target and what my audience interests may be. It will also influence my magazine design and what it will contain such as album reviews and the set up of the front cover to best attract my target audience. I do however plan on aiming for a younger audience rather than the 18-35 age group i will be aiming for the 16-25 to focus more on younger people.
