The Yale Law School Fund’s Law Firm

For many years, the Yale Law School (YLS) Fund has supported the world-class curriculum and faculty of YLS.

To accomplish its mission, the YLS Fund sponsors a broad range of fundraising efforts, including the Law Firm Challenge.

A friendly competition designed to generate financial support for YLS, the Law Firm Challenge calls on YLS alumni at leading law firms to give back to their alma mater.

Conducted at both the Partner and Associate level, the Law Firm Challenge relies on a series of peer-to-peer solicitations and tallies the results at the conclusion of each fundraising year.

In addition to having their names displayed in the Career Development Office, alumni firms with high participation rates earn recognition in the Annual Report of Giving.

Donations stemming from the Law Firm Challenge support a broad range of programs at YLS and help preserve the character and excellence of the YLS experience.

Alumni can earmark their donations for purposes such as Library Collections, Unrestricted Current Use, Clinical Programs, and Financial Aid/COAP.
