The narrative structure of the devil made me do it is single stranded as it focuses on the main topic of the murder and how it was influenced my music/media.

It also expands on Marylyn Manson's style and also devil worship in relation to the murder case.

The structure is linear in the aspects of the murder trial as it follows the event chronologically.

The conclusion is left open for interpretation as all the questions are answered but it is kept un bias.
