• As a future teacher, I believe that laptops would be very helpful inside and outside of the classroom. There are many fun and educational ways to use technology in the classroom with PowerPoints and interactive websites. Laptops would also allow teachers to research topics online for new lesson plans.

Laptops Benefit Students•Students can use computers for “internet

scavenger hunts” on a certain topic.•Students do not even need to buy their own. Some schools have wireless laptop carts. Wireless laptop carts allow students to be able to use a computer, without personally having to purchase one.


• Students are able to do group projects more easily.

• There would be a bigger variety of topics students would be able to research by using the internet, when libraries may not have all of the appropriate resources.

• Basic knowledge of technology helps students to be successful in their future education.


• I think that laptops are very beneficial to students. I think students should be able to purchase laptops to use in the classroom, or the district should provide laptop carts throughout schools in all grade levels. Computer skills are starting to become on of the most important things to learn in any classroom.

• Some families were not able to afford laptops, but the school systems helped families purchase the computers at a discount. Many school systems believe that laptops are very helpful for students to continue their learning from home with the internet and different types of educational programs.


• Many families could get a lot of use out of laptops, especially if it is the only computer in the house. Most families find computers to be very helpful and everyone can profit from all of its uses.

• Parents could use the computer for online banking or any other typeof computer based program.


• Many families in school systems should be offered discounts to purchase laptops for their children. The students should be allowed to take these computers home, so everyone in the family would be able to use it. Computers can be fun and helpful for everyone in the family.

Conclusion• Laptops in school would help teachers

out immensely. It would help teachers create new lessons plans, as well as maintaining an online grade book.

• The use of laptops would benefit students. It would allow them to increase their knowledge of technology.

• Laptops would also benefit the families of students. This one purchased laptop may be the only computer the family has, so everyone would be able to use it.
