Technical Sales engineering is usually a hybrid of gross sales and engineering in which exists in commercial and Non commercial market segments. Buying decisions within these markets are designed differently than those in many consumer contexts, staying based more with technical information as well as rational analysis as well as less on style, fashion, or behavioral instinct.
Therefore, selling in these kinds of markets cannot depend on consumer-type sales techniques alone, and instead it relies heavily with technical information as well as problem-solving to convince buyers which they should buy the seller's products, in order to meet up with a business have to have (that is, to meet up with a business case).
A sales electrical engineer is thus equally "a salesperson that understands which enables it to apply engineering" as well as "an engineer that understands the way to sell engineered systems".
Introduction (CONTD.)

During the recent years , demand for Technical sales has immensely increased. Most of the companies are hiring candidates who have both technical and marketing skills inbuilt. Companies look upon candidates who can handle clients as a whole from client acquisition to delivery.
The purpose of the job is to help potential customers understand, compare, and contrast the solutions that are available for buying (the pre-sales role); to troubleshoot problems with their implementations—that is, to help ensure that the solutions work successfully once the buying decision has been made (the post-sales role); and to maximize sales for the sales engineer's employer by providing such help to the customers (the aspect of the job that puts the "sales" in the title sales engineer).

Technical Sales
Technical sales personnel specialize in scientific and technologically advanced products and service. A technical sales position's duties require strong knowledge of technical and scientific products, including the functions and components that enable the products to work. Technical sales engineers can then promote and sell the product by demonstrating how the products work, along with the benefits for potential customers.
