Gender and M&E Expert, AfDB – MOWAC GRCDSP Project, Nov. 2011 – December 2012

Served as Gender and M&E Expert among a team that reviewed a document prepared by

the Institute of Local Government Studies (ILGS) with support and funding from the

African Development Bank (AfDB) to mainstream and integrate gender into national and

local development planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation in Ghana.

The manual is was used to train about 300 officials including Chief Directors and

Directors of PPMEDs; District, Municipal and Metro Chief Executives (MMDCEs); as

well as the Presiding Members (PMs) and Finance and Administration (F&A)

chairpersons at 55 MMDAs on tools and techniques for integrating gender concerns into

development processes.
