My favourite activities

Hello!My name is Kuba and I would like to tell you a few words about my favourite sport activities at my kindergarten. All of them are games and exercises involving physical movement.

At our kindergarten we start each day with games involving physical movement. We usually play to music. In our games we also use different aids such as hoops, bean bags, scarves, balls... and many, many others. When the weather is nice we often play in the garden.

Morning exercises and games involving physical movement which are organized by our teachers at least twice a day.

On hot days I love games in our garden. We have a swimming

pool with a slide, a bouncy castle and a

trampoline.

Garden games are also great in autumn

and winter!

Twice a week most of us do gymnastics under the watchful eye of our instructor. Many of my friends are flat-footed, have curvature of the spine or hunch. Physiotherapy exercises are to help us get rid of posture problems.

I can’t yet lift my leg as high as my coach Robert can but I’m

trying hard.

In spring and summer, under the watchful eye of our coach, we learn to play football. All keen children participate in trainings. For the last three years we have won all our games and we are the best team in our district.

Dance Twice a week we learn to

dance. We show our skills in front of our parents and in dance contests.

Sports competitionsEvery year we take part in the

Olympic Games for kidergartens and every year we win medals. I am proud of my achievements

and the results of our team.One day, when I am a well-known sportsman, I will participate in the

Olympics.

And this is my sister Karolina who together with her

kidergarten team has won the Warsaw Olympics twice.

Bielany District Race

Our kindergarten is known for organizing Bielany District Race. 200 fastest runners from local kindergartens participate in this competition.

Before the competition we train diligently in our garden and on the stadium.

I will never forget the atmosphere of the races and the joy of winning the

medals.

Sports and Recreation Picnics

Twice a year, together with our parents, we take part in picnics. We get a starting card and together

complete various tasks requiring agility, strength, speed and accuracy.Everybody wins a small prize.

My mum is also having great fun

during the picnic.

During trips we learn new games and discover our abilities.

Activities with ParentsThis is my dad. He has climbed Mont

Blanc and he talked about his expedition at the kindergarten.

Games involving physical movement are attractive for everyone and bring a lot of joy.

Sports Camps

I’m here! On a weekly sports camp. Together with my

kindergarten friends I’m learning many different sport disciplines.

Look how brave I am!

After a day full of games and exciting

activities I slept calmly even though I was so far from my home and

parents.

Thank you for the time we have spent together.

Maybe in a few years’time you will

recognize me on the Olympic stadium.

For now, I’m posing for a picture with our Polish

Olympic medalist, Tomasz Majewski, who visited our kindergarten and in a few

months’ time I’m going to a sports school. Before that ,
