Some Definitions

• Social network analysis (SNA) is a strategy for investigating social structures through the use of network and graph theories. It characterizes networked structures in terms of nodes (individual actors, people, or things within the network) and the ties or edges (relationships or interactions) that connect them.

• SNA measures and maps the flow of relationships and relationship changes between knowledge-possessing entities.

VFU and SNA

• Varna Free University offers courses based on the Social Network Analysis for bachelor and master programs

• The courses use social network analysis, both its theory and computational tools, to make sense of the social and information networks that have been fueled and rendered accessible by the internet.

• Each course observes SNA according to the corresponding program
