What is What is TaqwaTaqwa??

The usual translation into English is The usual translation into English is ‘reverential fear of ‘reverential fear of Allah’Allah’, which may convey some aspect of it, yet the full , which may convey some aspect of it, yet the full understanding of this term still evades many. I prefer to use understanding of this term still evades many. As for hope, this is unquestionably something else again. As for hope, this is unquestionably something else again. In our prayers, however, we must hope rewarded by him. Wa-na-swo-ra ‘ab-dahWa- a- ‘az - za – jun-dah

and made Victorious His servant and made Mighty His soldiers

and by His Unique (Power)He defeated the confederates,


Laa-ilaa-ha- il-lallaahWa-laa – na’ – bu-du-

il-laa –iy-yaah

There is no god, except Allah, There is no god, except Allah, And we worship (serve) none other (as God)

except Him


Mukh-li-swee-na – lahud- deenWa-lau- ka-ri-hal kaa –fi-ruun

with sincere and exclusive devotion even though the unbelievers hate it
