Light rays travel in straight lines.
•Shadows occur when an objet blocks light from a light source.
• Opaque object: Some light is absorbed and the rest reflects off.
• Translucent object: Some light can pass through but the rest of the ligth will be reflected
• Transparent object: Ligth rays pass through it easily.
• The object must be opaque or translucent to make a shadow
• A transparent object will not make any shadow, because ligth
will pass straigh through it .
• If an object is moved closer to the light source, the shadow gets bigger.
• If an object is moved further away from the light source, the shadow gets smaller.
