Scott: Studio Costume

I will be wearing a plain white shirt as people can relate to it being very formal as that was the look we wanted for this

I will be also wear a bright purple tie companying the white formal shirt, this emphasises the formalness of the top half of the costume but also ads connotation of fun and enjoyment due to the bright colour of the tie.

The bottom half of my costume will consist of light blue jeans. We Chose this as it is a huge contrast to the formalness of the top half of the costume and add a more independent tone which we were aiming for

The footwear for this costume will be informal canvas shoes. This emphasises the independent tone of our band and helps the audience relate to the band better.

Costume In Full

This is a picture of me, wearing all the elements to the costume. As you can see, it gives a more independent tone to the costume as the top half is very formal and the bottom have is extremely causal. This can help reach out to different audiences as well by helping them relate to different elements of the outfit.

Scott: Street Costume

When filming in the streets of Camden, I will be wearing this checked blue and green shirt. This type of shirt is very casual, comfortable and the type of shirt that may be warn in areas such as Camden due to the independent vibe of the city.

I will also be wear another pair of light blue, skinny jeans. This is due to the fact they are considered very causal and that something we would associate other indie bands with.

The footwear I will be wearing with this outfit are these burgundy, Adidas Original ‘Sambas’. This is due to their bright colour and casual looks.

Costume In Full

This is a picture of all the elements of the costume together. This is a very informal and casual costume that we hope the audience can strongly relate with. We also we that as we don’t want our band members to stand out during these scenes, that we will blend in with the other pedestrians in Camden when we all decide to go there and film together.

James: Studio Costume

James will be wearing a plain purple pocket tee. This is considered very casual and the bright colour matches the formal element of my costume

The brown formal belt matches the brown formal shoes and can so although our band members are independent, they want to look smart and can relate to some audience members

The grey formal suit trousers contrast to the loss fitting, casual pocket tee which James will be wearing at the same time. This can help emphasise the ‘indie’ feel we are aiming for

The brown formal shoes tie off the formal bottom half of the costume. This also helps promote the independent tone to our costumes

The Final Plan

These are just a few of the band members costumes. As we have three external media students preforming in our video, it was difficult to get them to sort their costumes due to them not being fully informed on what we want them to wear. The plan its to edit and produce a video, displaying all the band members costumes for each location when we start to film. We will film them and take pictures of their costume which we will use to show what they are wearing and how it relates to the concept we are aiming for within our group.
