Matter is anything made
of atoms and molecules,
is anything that has a

Solid:
Solid object
does not
take on the
shape of its
container.
Examples:
•Rock
•Diamonds,
etc.
Liquid:
Is able to flow
and take the
shape of a
container, but,
like a solid, it
resists
compression.
Examples:
•Water
•Blodd, etc.
Gas:
As heat is
added to
this
substance it
melts into a
liquid.
Examples:
•Oxigen
•Carbon
Dioxide, etc.
Plasma: BoseEinstein:
Are a lot
like
gases, but
the atoms
are
different.

gas of
weakly
interacting
bosons.
