RULE - 1

• UPSC full form Union Public Service commission. • The examination will be conducted by UPSC

RULE - 2

• Choose Preferences of services and posts

• Choose the state

• Based on selection Positions Will be allotted

RULE - 3

• Positions will be filled by UPSC based on Result Reservation

• Reservation Castes Physically disabled categories

RULE - 4

• Number of attempts for Aspirants

6 attempts till 32 years of age(General).

9 attempts till 35 years of age(OBC).

unlimited attempts till 37 years of age(sc/st).

RULE - 5

• Aspirants must be citizen of Indian

1. A person of Indian origin who has migrated

from specific countries

RULE - 6

Age Limit and Age Relaxation

• 32 years of age - General.

• 35 years of age - OBC.

• 37 years of age - SC/ST.

RULE - 7

Educational Qualification

A candidate must hold a degree of any of the

Universities incorporated by an Act of the

Central or State Legislature in India or other

Educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament.

RULE - 8

A candidate who is appointed to the Indian

Administrative Service or the Indian Foreign

Service on the results of an earlier examination

and continues to be a member of that service will not be eligible to compete at this

examination.

RULE - 9

Candidates must pay the fees prescribed in theCommission's Notice.

Rule – 10

Those serving under Public Enterprises will be required to submit an undertaking that they have informed in writing their Head of Office/Department that they have applied for the Examination.

RULE - 11

The decision of the Commission as to the eligibility or otherwise of a candidate for admission to the examination shall be final. The candidates applying for the examination should ensure that they fulfill all the eligibility conditions for admission to the Examination.

RULE - 12

No candidate will be admitted to the Preliminary/Main Examination unless he holds a certificate of admission for the Examination.

RULE - 13No request for withdrawal of candidature received from a candidate after he hassubmitted his application will be entertainedunder any circumstances.
