Who Would Purchase my magazine?

• My target audience would purchase my magazine because it is something that they would be interested in reading. Most of the articles within my magazine revolve around keeping the reader up to date with the latest music within the industry as well outside the pop genre. This is seen where there is a section on ‘The Top 40’ in Spotify and ITunes charts which would include news on not only the popular pop music but also other genres.

• Teenagers who want to keep up to date with the latest trends would want to purchase this magazine because there is a section on ‘hot or not’ which highlights the popular trends this month.

• Also anyone who wants to keep up to date in regards to celebrity gossip as well as any upcoming news or events on concerts, festivals and new releases of music.

Reader Profile…• After creating my magazine, my reader profile

would look more or less the same. This is because the typical reader is seen to enjoy keeping up to date with fashion which is something I have included as well as enjoying going to concerts and festivals which was also included. However one thing I would change is that the typical reader could enjoy reading about artist gossip as well as knowing what is popular this month in regards to music specifically.

After creating the magazine I don’t feel as though my original audience has changed because I believe it still appeals to my target audience. This is due to the way my magazine comes across. As you can see all three pages correlate with one another to create a magazine which is fun and youthful but at the same time it has a bit of sophistication too.
