Equipment for FilmingCanon 1100D for filming performance and
narrative shots. Also for taking pictures for the digipak. I liked
using this camera because it was easy to use and had a really high
quality compared to the camera I used in AS media.For the
performance shots I used a projector to project a galaxy background
which gave it a nice effect and I will definitely use this idea
again. I used my IPod to play the music so that I could mime along
to it and match the sound when I edited the video. I used a tripod
to stabilize the shots. It was very helpful and gave the video a
more professional look.
Equipment for EditingThis is the computer I edited my video and
ancillary tasks on. The screen was really big so I could see things
clearly which was really helpful.To edit my music video I used
Adobe Premiere Pro. I knew how to use this from taking media in
year 10 and from AS. This time I learnt how to use more video
transitions that I hadn't used before.
Digipak and Magazine cover I used Adobe Photoshop to edit the
digipak and magazine cover. I became more confident using this
programme because I havent used it much before. This is the process
of drawing the main picture for the digipak and magazine cover. I
drew it in pencil so we edited it Photoshop so it looked pink.
I used Blogger to track my process of making the music video and
record my research. It was very helpful and kept me organized. I
used Blogger last year in AS so I was very familiar with the
site.
PresentationI mainly used Prezi or Scribd to present my work in
a creative way. I used both of the sites last year and I really
enjoy using them. I like Prezi more because it is more interactive
and you can choose different themes that fit with your work. I also
used Glogster to present some of my work in a magazine style which
I really enjoyed the look of.
Audience feedback and researchFor my audience feedback I used
surveymonkey and voki to create a clear idea of who my audience
were and their opinion on my work. It was really helpful because I
got a clear idea of what my audience wanted to see and what they
liked.
Editing videos at homeFor evaluation question 2 and 3 I created
videos using wondershare on my computer at home. I recently
purchased the programme but I am already quite confident using
it.
