What are we going to learn today?

POI

Don’t you know whom they are?

A play called “ the poi” it relates to a malabarie

device or a play consisting on a ball on which a thin string is attached and by making them turn as fast

as possible different visual effects are and nice to be seeing. There are many

types: fire, flags, bags of sand, with ligths, etc., but

their execution are all similar.

We will start to manufacture our own poi

MATERIALS

Hair tie

Roll of thin string

Tennis or rubber balls

Key holder ring

Lighter

Insulating tape

Metal washers

Cutter

And… how are they being made?

1.We make a cut on both balls

2. We make a hole on the other side

3. We cut two pieces same sizes from the string

4. To one side of the string, we put the metalic washer tightening the key

holder ring

5. We tight up on the ring the hair tie.

6.We put through the cut made on the ball all the

system

.

7. And as final, on the other side we make a lace and closing it up with insulating tape.
