• The 4 members of the band are all descendants from the genocide in Armenia, which occurred before the first world war.

• Their music is lots of different metal genre’s rolled into one.

• Their lyrics reflect this, and generally challenge the glamorisation of the USA.

• Porcupine are a progressive rock band who are famous for very long songs of about 17 minutes long.

• The cover they have chosen has a lot of blues and whites, which gives it a cold feel.

• The depicted person has his hands caressing his head as if he has a huge migraine. Their music is rather ambient which contrasts with the stressful cover.

• Here you can see a guy standing in what seems to be a desert, holding a gas mask as if his world has been torn apart by war.
