This is part of a webquest assignment to have the students be act activists for their art program and get the message to the Nevada State legislators to Save the Arts by continuing to fund the program.

Its persuasive techniques are regularly applied by politicians, advertisers, journalists, radio personalities, and others who are interested in influencing how humans behave Propagandistic messages can be used to accomplish positive social ends, as in campaigns to reduce drunk driving, to win elections, and cause people to hate others.

The angel in the background suggests that German greatness is a positive thing and not a threat. This imagery is quite deliberate and is based on a parable in the bible of a man sowing seeds, which suggests a link between Hitler and God.

•Design a poster that promotes the Visual Arts.

•The target audience is the school board and legislators.

• Use at least two of the persuasive devices mentioned.

•Use color and images that have an impact on the viewer.

•Use Photoshop to create this poster so that it is print ready.

• Your grade will be determined by the overall design and whether you have met all the criteria listed in the rubric.

• There is evidence that you used the persuasive device to capture the attention of your audience.

•You demonstrated a mastery of suggestion by your word choices or other alliteration devices.

•Evidence in effort, forethought and planning.
