Estonian Flag

Estonian flag is the flag of the nation and state of Estonia.The colours of the flag:

• blue –stands for reflektion of our sky, lakes and sea, symbol of faithfulness to truth and national ideals;

• black – colour of soil and the jacket of our national costume;

• white – striving for happiness and light.

Suur Munamägi

Suur Munamägi (with its height of 318 meters) lying in the centre of Haanja Heights is the highest point in Estonia as well as in the Baltic states. There is a tower at its top offering a view over a territory of 50 kilometers from as high as 346,7 meters.

Song Festival

It is an open air festival where many choirs and orchestras gather to perform together.

The first all – Estonian Song Festival took place in Tartu in 1869.

Song festivals are held eveny 5 years in Estonia. Eveny 5 years are also held song festivals for the youth. It is an event where school children can perform.

Cornflower

Cornflower is the national flower of Estonia since 1968.
