15th September Researched different documentaries

16th SeptemberBrainstormed ideas for our own documentary

Found out groups and started thinking about topics we could do

23th SeptemberStarted writing scripts and storyboards for our documentary

After establishing ‘dating’ as the topic of our documentary we began on scripts and storyboards

3rd October Wrote questionnaire and sent it to friends and family

Used Survey Monkey to create an online questionnaire that could be sent via social media

4th + 5th October Continued writing scripts and storyboards

7th October Gathered results of questionnaire and looked for trends

Used Survey Monkey to put the results in different graphs and charts

12th October Scouted locations that we could use for the different parts of our documentary

We went to different locations to judge whether or not they were suited for our documentary

14th October Started planning a schedule for filming

Looked at each of or calendar’s to find days that we can film and locations

22nd October First part of filming At Leila’s house filming the date of Dalia and Finn

23rd October Did a second draft of script after some adjustments whilst filming

12th November Filming Leila’s house filming wardrobe scene and entering of the house for Leila’s dad and Dalia

14th + 15th November Looked at the footage we filmed over the past few weeks

Made sure we had all the shots that we wanted and checked for anything we wanted to reshoot

20th November Reshooting Filmed particular shots and angles that we weren’t happy with from before

21st November Filmed the clips of Finn in everyday life at school

Spent the morning at different locations within school, filming Finn

22nd November Edited the clips of Finn Cut the clips and edited them25th November Did some reshooting of Finn at

schoolRe-filmed the shot of Finn entering Reed’s

5th – 9th December Edited all the footage that we have filmed

Started putting all the footage in a logical order so that we could make plans over the Christmas period for the next term

11th January Assessed what we have so far and what we still have to do

Made a plan for the next few weeks about what we wanted to get done

12th January Continued editing13th January Filmed Jenifer Hart’s interview16th January Looked at the footage of

Jenifer’s interviewWent over the footage to see if it was good

17th January Changed our minds to wanting to film Hayley Cook instead

We decided that we didn’t like the voice and topic that Jenifer was talking about and realised the Hayley would be a better choice as it is her topic in lessons
