  4. 4. Body language refers to the non-verbal signals that we use to communicate. These non-verbal signals make up a huge part of our daily communication, from our facial expressions to our body movements the thing that we dont say can still convey volumes of information. Body language is thought to account for between 50% and 70% of all communication. Understanding body language is important but it also essential to note other cues such as context and to look at signals as a group rather than focusing on a single action. The message that we wish to convey may be given by the image that we portray.
