POLYESTER ORIGINIn the early thirties it was produced in England the first polyester fiber it obtained from dicarboxylic acids called Terylene

In 1946 Du Pont acquired the exclusive license to make polyester in the United States, knowing in that country under the name of Dacron, and released in 1951.

ORIGIN OF LYCRA

Lycra was invented in 1959 by chemist Joseph Shivers.

The Spanish company DuPont patented his invention in 1959 and gave him the name LYCRA. It is one of the fibers composing a fabric. Its properties are given elasticity and higher quality

ORIGIN OF NYLON

Nylon was discovered by Wallace Hume Carothers It was discovered on February 28, 1935

The DuPont Laboratories in 1938, produced this strong and resilient synthetic fiber

ORIGIN OF RAYONRayon fiber was the first fiber manufactured

It is produced from a polymer found in the nature The physical properties of rayon not change until the development of high tenacity rayon in the 40s.
