Rory Murphy• Role: “Boyfriend”• Suitability: He has good acting abilities and

is the real boyfriend of Holly, so this helps in portraying real emotion. He is comfortable with his fellow actor and has an understanding of the screenplay we want to achieve. Rory is physically suitable for the part because he can grow stubble to look unkempt, is taller than Holly so he appears dominating, and has dark curly hair which will also add to the unkempt look. We want for his character to look dishevelled because this will make his concerns and motives seem more focused on his girlfriend rather than appearance.

• Age: 18• Gender: Male• Consent given: Yes

Holly Riley Role: “Girlfriend” and Director Suitability: She has previous acting

experiences, having been part of a drama group for several years, and has a love for music. She has helped in creating the story boards and has an understanding of the genre conventions. She is physically suited for the part because she takes pride in her appearance by presenting herself well, much like her character in the video. Her short dark hair breaks the stereotype of a typically girly person, making her seem more suited to an edgier Alternative music video.

Age: 18 Gender: Female Consent given: Yes
