I have chosen to edit this image because the artist has a direct eye contact with the audience. I have cropped the background using a magnetic lasso tool on Photoshop. Then I have applied a black and white filter across the images and used a rubber to erase the areas that contain the rich gold colour. I have done this effect to show off the artists wealth and his success.

Contents Page Image

Here I have used this image because the image is elongated in a vertical angle which was appropriate for the contents page. In addition the artist has a strong posture. I have used the magnetic lasso tool to crop the image and have lightened the facial areas with a dodge tool. Furthermore, I have told my artist to wear the same clothing to match the colour scheme throughout the magazine which blends well with the dark colours.

Double Spread Images

The images that I have used for the double page have been cropped using the magnetic lasso tool. Image 1 has been lightened on the facial area and image 2 has been enlarged and positioned behind the text with the opacity decreased allowing the text to be visualised. I decided to use this images for this page because they shows the artist success in their career as he is poses confidently.
