Melanie Booth-Butterfield, Matthew M. Martin, and Scott A. Myers were ranked in the Top 30 active researchers in the Communication discipline from 1915 to 2006. • Drs. Rebecca M. Chory and Keith Weber were ranked in the Top 30 active researchers in the Communication discipline from 2002 to 2006. • Dr. Keith Weber received the 2007 West Virginia University Foundation Outstanding Teacher Award. • Dr. Rebecca M. Chory was awarded a 2009 Fulbright Scholar Grant to teach in Budapest, Hungary. She currently coordinates and teaches a summer study abroad program in Budapest. • Dr. Scott A. Myers received the 2010 West Virginia University Eberly College of Arts and Sciences Outstanding Teacher Award. Dr. Nick Bowman teaches in a summer study abroad program in Erfurt, Germany. • Dr. Melanie Booth-Butterfield is a Past Editor of Communication Education, Communication Quarterly, and Communication Research Reports and served as President of the Eastern Communication Association. • Dr. Scott A. Myers is a Past Editor of Communication Teacher and is currently the President of the Central States Communication Association. Graduate faculty serve on the editorial boards of journals such as Communication Monographs, Communication Quarterly, Communication Yearbook, and Communication Education. Ph.D. students typically receive full tuition waivers and graduate teaching assistantships, as well as summer teaching opportunities and conference travel funding.
