• Eastern is dependent on our part-time faculty for both their expertise and their willingness to teach early in the morning, late in the evening and on Saturdays.*

DID YOU KNOW that part-timer Dr. Kathleen McGrory (English) was Academic VP at Eastern Connecticut State University from 1978 – 1985?

Dr. McGrory served at Eastern first as Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences and then as Vice President for Academic Affairs.   While she was Dean, the position of academic vice president became vacant, and the Eastern faculty nominated Dr. McGrory for that position in a most enthusiastic manner possible.

She served in these two positions with distinction.
