This piece of art is called Kitwancool and was done in 1928. I think Emily Carr used colour, form, space, and lines. I think Emily used oil paints for this painting. This painting looks like to me it is a native painting because of the totem poles. This painting makes me think of the northern lights in the background of the painting. Also, it reminds me of the forest.

This painting also looks native because of the totem poles. I like this painting because it looks like a snowy scene from the ground.
