IN GREECE

Some days before Christmas house wives make sweets (kourabiedes : something like shortbread melomakarona: small cakes with honey syrup) and all the houses smell wonderful . We offer them to our guests!!! The traditional dish used to be pork or lamb but nowadays we cook turkey!

On Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve all families have lunch or dinner together because it’s a family celebration. Families enjoy a delicious meal and everyone is happy.

beds for the family near the swimming-pool. I wore

my sunglasses to see them but I was too tired! For

my birthday, benjamin and his brothers forced me to
