My PLN Progress:

At the beginning of the semester I started with zero followers and I wasn’t following anyone yet either.

As time went on I started following more people who were education-oriented and gained a few followers myself!

Check out the next slide for some screenshots that illustrate my involvement on twitter, my PLN platform!

Overall Thoughts on PLNs:

At first, the concept of a PLN confused me and I was getting bogged down in the many definitions. After utilizing my Twitter and getting more involved in the education community online I have realized there are so many benefits to a having a PLN and keeping it and regularly updated.

My Twitter is now filled with educationally minded individuals and organizations that provide access to all types of information pertaining to k-12 learning

Twitter now provides me with an endless amount of educational support, news, trends and ideas and I can personally connect with the people who are providing me with all of this great information through tweets, re-tweets and replies.

I am now more connected than ever with education-oriented people and even have international contacts which helps me understand education on a more global scale!
