Day had started with a welcoming ceremony. It was really nice to see all the work that students have put
in the whole event.
Students’ concert was a surprise for us because most of pupils were playing an instrument or ,if they
couldn’t, the were singing.
Our Polish team prepared a chemistry lesson about pH solutions. Everyone really liked it and were asking us
about our DIY pH papers.
We helped everyone and
explained why the papers change
their colors.
In every group there were people from
different countries.
Our car had Polish flag on it and also other
traditional Polish patterns.
It was really exciting to see all the cars riding in
the sun.
At the end of the day we saw a performance of traditional folk music group, which was dancing and
singing.
On second day we had a trip to Catania. We visited Vincenco Bellini’s house, the museum of II world war
and center of the city.
Group of Italian students told us everything about Catania and St.
Agatha.
We could spend time in great company and
place.
Bulgarian girls were really
talented and doing all these
figures everywhere.
While walking we could watch the beautiful view of
Catania.
We had a good guide in the
gallery of art who told us the
meaning of all artworks.
We needed to take a picture with a Polish car, Fiat
500.
In cooking school we were able to see how to make traditional Sicilian
dishes.
Everything smelled really nice and we couldn’t wait to try
it!
Day fourth was the day of Etna. We were at the top of the vulcano and also visited the museum of Etna. It was really exciting to see the biggest active vulcano
in Europe .
The ground was hot because of lava . Everyone started to lay
down on it because the cold wind was blowing
really hard.
We were all hugging ourselves cause of the cold. You can say that
Etna was putting us togehter.
The whole view was black and
white.
When we went down the weather
was hot again.
We visited the museum of Etna,
where we watched really interesting
movie and saw an exhibition.
Day fifth was our last. We visited Taormina, a beautiful city built by Romans and Greeks. It was full of
amazing views and streets.
The city was really magical. The little streets and shops and of course the
buildings.
The best part of Taormina was the
view in our opinion.
Exciting part of the day was the beach!
The sea was much more salty but also more clear than the
Baltic Sea.
At the evening there was a goodbye dinner. The place was really pretty and everything was well prepared. We danced like crazy and at the end we were crying
because we had to say goodbye.
We knew that these are our last
moments together, but we all had much fun!
We were dancing like crazy but we
also needed to eat some treats. The traditional food of Sicily was really
good.
We are really thankful for a chance to see such a beautiful place and meet so many great people.
Eramsus + is an amazing project which can make your dreams come true. We truly believe that lots of
people will meet each other again. We also hope that other students will take part in this project and
will make great memories. Because remember.. MEMORIES NEVER DIE
