DIRECTIONS

This medicine is called:

NITROGLYCERIN

It is for the relief of chest pain (Angina).

Keep this medicine with you at all times.

IMPORTANT

1. At the first sign of chest pain, sit down.

2. As soon as the pain starts, take this medicine

3. Place one tablet under your tongue or between your cheek and gum. 4. Allow the tablet to completely dissolve.

Do not chew or swallow the tablet.

Do not eat, drink or smoke while the tablet is in your mouth.

If the pain is the same or becomes worse after 5 minutes - call 911.

However, if the pain has let up but not left you, place another tablet under your tongue.

Wait five minutes, if the pain is not completely gone, call 911.

(If you are taking this medication to prevent chest pain that you may have during an activity,

take it 5 to 10 minutes before you start the activity.)

Follow your doctor’s instructions on how to use this product to decrease the risk that the medication will become less effective over time.

If this medication stops working well, let your doctor know.

Do not stop taking this medication suddenly without consulting your doctor.

Your condition may become worse when the medication is suddenly stopped.

Your dose may need to be gradually decreased.

Inform your doctor if your condition worsens, for instance:

• the number of angina attacks increases.

• or you have to take more nitroglycerine pills to relieve angina attacks.
