Executive summarySave the children is an international, volunteer, and co-operative
organization. The organization abides by fourteen principles of
management. Their management system is very nice. It is a
international organization so they are not only Bangladeshi
organization. So, they are worldwide organization. One hundred and
twenty countries are served by save the children organization. Their
management system must be international standard. The organization
works for children in the world. The main objectives of save the
children organization serve all kinds of children in the world.
Introduction to Save the Children Save the Children is the leading independent organization.
About Ninety four years ago one woman, Eglantyne Jebb,
started a worldwide movement.
Save the Children began as a result of the international
children’s rights movement, occurring in England in 1919
and led by Eglantyne Jebb.
They have been working in Bangladesh since 1970.
In October 2011, four Save the Children organizations
working in Bangladesh came together to deliver their
programs as one Save the Children.
Their Vision
is a world in which every child attains the right to survival,
protection, development and participation.
Their Mission
is to inspire breakthroughs in the way the world treats children,
and to achieve immediate and lasting change in their lives.
Management systems of Save the Children
Division of work:
Save the Children is committed to diversity in a working environment where
there is mutual trust and respect and where everyone feels responsible for
the performance and reputation of their organization. They will recruit,
employ and promote employees on the sole basis of the qualifications and
abilities needed for the work to be performed. New employ appointed work
completed HR department.

All employees in save children organization get lot of power regarding their
work. They get an opportunity to develop their career. An accountant can
check any kinds of cheque books and bank related transactions.
Discipline:
Discipline on save children organization is better than any other organization.
It has a fair full discipline. All employees always aware to maintain a good
discipline. They have a good communication and a good relationship each
other friendly. They go to office timely and maintain all roles of organization.
For this reason the goal of organization is always better.

Unity of command:
There has different part of works such as finance department, H.R
department, programs department etc
All employees of this department are leaded by him/her. All employees
bound to follow him.
The country director leads to the directors.

Unity of direction:
In this organization, only director don’t make any decision.
The director manages the idea from employees and leads
properly.
He makes plan by helping under his /her employees.

Subordination of individual interests to the general interest:
In this organization all employee know that the organization’s goal
is more important than their personal objects.
Personal improvement is not important.
By hard working they try to develop the organization goal or
objective.

Remuneration:
The director always aware to give maximum wage to his /her employees.
Without main wages, the employees get extra facilities of economic.
Sometimes they are survey another international organization.
If their remuneration scale is low then other organization then they are
increase remuneration scale and if their remuneration scale is high then
other organization they are not decrease remuneration scale. So their
remuneration scaling is very nice.

Centralization:
For proper using of asset and gain of organization goal, the
organization centralizes their programs.
When they are take any important decision then this decision
take country director and all department directors and when
they take any work develop decision then they are take
information from field worker and take the decision.

By using it, from director to employee make a good relation
ship . It is the process to communication from top to down
employee step by step. Save the Children follow this roll. They
are divided their employees step by step.

For this reason the director modify to employees all time. In
this organization, any kinds of initiative are taken by
discussion of all level employee and they get a good solution.

Save the Children all employees are friendly. When they are taking
any action then all employees jointly take this action. It is a
volullanteer organization so their all of the work are very nice.
Conclusion:Lastly we are told that, Save the Children is an international organization
so their management principles are very strong. They are following
Henry Fayol management principles.
